Director of Organ Placement and Utilization - Full time/Covington - Directs the operations of the Organ Placement and Utilization department. Responsible for providing administrative oversight of all organ placement activities including organ allocation for transplant and research, coordination of recovery logistics and transportation. Directs allocation efforts in pursuit of maximizing the number of organs transplanted from every authorized case. Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies for organ recovery. Serves as a liaison to transplant centers for organ procurement activities within and outside the donation service area. Supports and fosters the mission of the organization and its commitment to organ, eye and tissue donation.

Director of Performance Excellence - Full time/Covington - The Director of Performance Excellence will partner directly with the senior leadership team and Chief Strategy Officer to foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive an integrated system of strategy, improvement, and daily management across the organization.

Senior Regional Director - Full time/Shreveport/Monroe - The Senior Regional Director (SRD) is responsible for achieving donation outcomes in their specific region. The SRD will serve as a liaison between primary directors and regional employees in order to maintain efficient work flow, consistent culture, and effective performance management of the team.

Donation Services Coordinator I - Full time/Baton Rouge - The Donation Services Coordinator (DSC I) will ensure timely on-site response, assessment, and evaluation of potential organ donors, as well as communicating with hospital staff to maintain opportunity for donation. The DSC I will be responsible for proactive rounding and early identification of donor referral potential.

Family Advocate I - Full time/Baton Rouge - Family Advocate staff will aid families and hospital staff to understand the donation process. Support donor families through grief process so they feel supported in end of life decisions. Family Advocates are specialized in the authorization process and work towards meeting LOPA’s annual authorization goal.

Family Advocate I - Full time/Lafayette, Alexandria, Lake Charles - Family Advocate staff provide onsite response and is responsible for advocating for donation and support families through the organ and tissue donation conversation and process. Family advocates are responsible for recognizing and initiating family conversation triggers for timely donation conversation.

Surgical Coordinator I - Full time/Covington - Responsible for the coordination of the organ donation process during the recovery of organs for transplantation and research. Participates with hospital development and professional/public education programs using a team approach. Develops and maintains a positive professional liaison between LOPA and the medical/civic community. Utilizes discretion and sensitivity with respect to the circumstances, views and beliefs of others in all interactions, including donor families.
